Mid Atlantic Independent Baptist Church Planting is a ministry of State Line Baptist Church in Rising Sun, MD. We have a strong burden to plant soul winning, King James only, Independent Baptist Churches in gospel starving areas in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
We believe that it is Scriptural that the local church be active in establishing local churches.
Seek God’s direction, power and will for the area He would like a Bible preaching church to be established.
Seek out a building in that area to hold services.
Reach that community through aggressive door to door soul winning and one on one discipleship.
Hold weekly services while building and maturing that local church.
As the church matures, we will seek the Pastor that God will have to take and oversee that local church.
Once the church has reached maturity and the Pastor is in place, we will move on to the next area that God has for us and start the process over again.
The Field Pastor As a member of State Line Baptist Church his duty is to be the temporary Pastor of the new church plant. He will work one on one with the new converts of the church plant through preaching and discipleship
The Soul Winning Team
They will be part of an organized group of soul winners that reach the lost in that area through the gospel of Christ and encourage them to be a part of the new church plant.
The Financial Team They will put together and oversee the budget of the ministry and new church plant. Their purpose is to make sure things are done Biblically and in a decent and orderly manner, while getting the new church financially ready to be autonomous.
The Building Team A crew of skilled craftsmen that will be getting the new church building ready for the preaching services.
